334. From one generation to another

.... stepping back in time

Fyansford.com is totally about recognising history and all those who contributed to the building of our community. To me history is only as good as the people who wrote it and Betty Viccars' notes (from the '80s) throw a gentle light onto a simpler (possibly harsher) time...

As I read her hand-typed pages, it is as though I'm sitting by the stove in Betty's kitchen listening to her telling me the story.
