In the twilight zone
As one of my favourite bloggers (Nikki Gemmell) posted in the Weekend Australian Magazine – “There’s little of the resolve and energy of the March lockdown; that sense of a grand adventure, that this can be done and beaten. Now there’s weariness and blame, accusation and division. Each day is held hostage to the announcement of the Covid numbers. New cases, community transmissions, returned travellers, unknown sources, and the mounting deaths, too many deaths amid too many families suffering.”
