As a youngster I well remember my mother complaining whenever the wind was blowing in the wrong direction about her getting cement dust on the washing. My dad, a taxi-cab owner, chose his car-washing days carefully.
At long last I have, I think, finally compiled an up-to-date album of Evert's amazing photos. His collection provides a real, true-to-life insight into the reality of Fyansford at an important time in its history.
