Living in Fyansford by the confluence of the Barwon and Moorabool rivers, adjacent to extensive parklands, flourishing rural properties and busy suburbia, we are, indeed, fortunate to be surrounded by varied habitats. If we do the right thing and look after our environment, birdlife will in time become wondrously abundant.

As a son of an avid bird fancier I was very familiar with dad's prized reference "What Bird Is That?"

Rod Morrison recently posted on Fyansford Community Noticeboard,

"Fyansford is a great place to live. We have quite a variety of bird life in and around the Moorabool River very close to the playground on Monier Way. Here a 'few' photographs that I have recently taken to share with you. Most likely you will have seen quite a few of these birds about".

Has anyone done a Fyansford bird count?
