ANZAC Day an important occasion. I will be OS at that time. Hence this posting.
I am sure that at some stage in the past there have been numerous appropriate remembrance services held in Fyansford honouring those who served from our small community.
My researches have identified nine ANZACs born in Fyansford and a similar number of WW2 veterans. Unfortunately, I cannot confirm the names of veterans who while not being born in Fyansford were, in fact, long-time residents of our locality. I would appreciate any assistance in adding names to the list.
